Giraffe Rewards

Are you having a Giraffe, because we aren't! Our offers are deadly serious!

Between August 21st & October 27th 2023, Croydon is hosting a wild event called 'Croydon Stands Tall'.

This is due to Croydon being the London Borough of Culture for 2023.

It is an art trail that will see the general public lead all over Croydon, to find 30 beautiful giant Giraffes designed and decorated by local and global artists.

Local schools and youth organisations will also decorate 20 little Giraffes.

Culmunating in a farewell weekend October 28th-29th 2023, with all Giraffes being brought together in 1 location.

Towards the end of the year there will be a fundraising event, where all the Giraffes will be auctioned off to raise money for Crisis Croydon.

Hewitts are a sponsor for one of the artists and will proudly have Giraffe displayed outside our store.

The design we choose is called 'Giraffe-A-Lot' and was designed by the talented Charlotte Adderley.

We can't wait to see it proudly displayed on Church Street.

For those that take part you can collect the Giraffes via a code (that is found on the giraffes) on the Croydon Stands Tall app.

You can download this from Google play and the App store.

This will also unlock offers, discounts and promotions for various local businesses.

As such Hewitts will be doing a few different rewards, only available for those who collect the code on our giraffe and enter it on the app:

1. 5% discount off any in-store purchase (one time use only and sale items, bowlswear, nametapes, scouts & guides uniform/badges not included). Simply present the unlocked reward on the app to the cashier, and it will be deducted from your bill.
2. On the same in-store purchase where you redeem your offer, you can enter into our monthly prize draw to win a £50 Hewitts voucher. If you leave a Google review, you will also be eligible for 2 entries and double your chances of winning.
3. If you purchase online and put the word 'Giraffe' in the customer notes section at checkout, you will get a loyalty sticker added onto your account with no extra purchase necessary. For example: If you order value is equivalent to 3 stickers you will get 4 in total, or if you didn't earn any because your order is below £50 you will still earn 1.

Terms & Conditions

• Discount is only valid on in-store purchases and cannot be used online (sale items, bowlswear, nametapes, scouts & guides uniform/badges are not included in the 5% offer)
• 5% discount can only be used ONCE, a member of staff will ask you to put in a code to expire it after usage
• The reward must be unlocked and presented to the cashier to be eligible, will not be accepted by word of mouth
• Double entries for the voucher prize draw are only valid for August, September & October's draws
• There are only 2 entries max for the prize draw, per customer. Your in-store entry is only with your actived reward presented.
• Google review entries will still be valid for the months after, just not in-store purchase entries
• To get an extra loyalty sticker 'Giraffe' MUST be put in the customer notes section at checkout. If forgotten the order is not eligible for an extra sticker.
• The loyalty sticker offer can be used for any purchase online between August 21st & October 29th 2023.
• ALL OUR REWARDS ARE ONLY ELIGIBLE BETWEEN AUGUST 21ST & OCTOBER 29TH 2023, EXCLUDING THE 5% WHICH EXPIRES OCTOBER 28TH (due to store being closed on Sundays)
